THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE

Turns on the interior lights, which rem ain on as long as
the battery has power or until the ignition key is
rem oved .

NOTE: The interior lights can only be deactivated if the
key is rem oved from the ignition switch or the vehicle is
driven.

Mod ification s to an y part of th e airb ag system cou ld cau se it to fail when
you need it. You cou ld be in ju red if th e airb ag system is not th ere to
protect you . Do not mod ify th e com pon en ts or wirin g, in clu din g ad din g
an y kin d of bad ges or stick ers to th e steerin g wheel hub trim cover or th e
upper passen ger sid e of th e in stru men t pan el. Do not mod ify th e fron t
bumper or veh icle bod y stru ctu re.

Do not attem pt to mod ify an y part of you r ad van ced airb ag system . Th e
airb ag may in flate accid en tally or may not fu nction prop erly if mod ifica-
tion s are mad e. Take you r veh icle to an au th orized dealer for an y ad van ced
airb ag system service. If you r seat in clu din g you r trim cover an d cush ion
need s
to be serviced in an y way (in clu din g rem oval or loosen in g/
tigh ten in g of seat attach men t bolts), tak e th e veh icle to you r au th orized
dealer. Only man ufactu rer ap proved seat accessories may be used . If it is
necessary to mod ify an ad van ced airb ag system for person s with disab ili-
ties, con tact you r au th orized dealer.
