To resu me the operation from a partially closed position,
press and hold the switch once again.
Anti-Pinch Protect Feature
The Sky Slider will retract autom atically if it detects an
obstru ction while closing. If this occurs, rem ove the
obstru ction and use the switch again to close the Sky
Slider.
Manually
The Sky Slider drive motors are mounted to the roof
above the cargo lamp. In the event that you r vehicle
losses battery power, you can close the Sky Slider by
turning the drive gears in the approp riate motor with a 6
mm Allen wrench. To do so, you must first rem ove the
cargo lamp from the head liner. Then, insert the wrench
into the “Allen” shap ed hole in the approp riate motor
and turn the wrench clockw ise until the top closes
completely. The left motor facing forw ard will close the
top when it is open from the rear of the vehicle. The right
motor will close the top when it is open from the front of
the vehicle.
WARN ING!
There is no anti-p inch protection when the Sky
Slid er is alm ost closed . Be sure to clear all objects
from the Sky Slid er before closin g.
Wind Buffeting
Wind buffeting can be described as the percep tion of
pressu re on the ears or a helicop ter typ e sou nd in the
ears. Your vehicle may exhibit wind buffeting with the
wind ows down, or the Sky Slider in certain open or
partially open positions. This is a norm al occurrence and
can be minim ized . If the buffeting occurs with the rear
