If hand washing:
Immediate rem oval of any contam inant is recom mend ed.
Regu lar washing of the top will enhance its life and
appearance, and make successive cleaning easier. Do not
subject the top to excessive heat. Frequ ently vacu um the
top and storage compartm ent.

Wash in partial shad e instead of direct sun.
Wet the entire vehicle before washing the top .
Wash the top with a soft, natu ral bristle scru b bru sh,
and a mild soap solu tion such as liqu id dishw ashing
soap . Do not use detergent.

Hand washing or an autom atic car wash with a soft cloth
system is preferred .

Scrub in all directions, covering an area of abou t two
squ are feet at a time. Avoid heavy scru bbing.
CAUTIO N!
Rinse the entire vehicle with water to rem ove all soap
and dirt from the top fabric and to prevent streaking
on painted and chrom e surfaces.
Avoid poin tin g a high -pressu re hand held spay wand
directly at the sid es of the top , as this can damage the
seal and force water past the weath er strip s.
