Apply the parking brake.
Start the engine.
HDC (Hill Descent Control) – If Equipped
HDC is only intend ed for low speed off-road driving.
HDC maintains vehicle speed while descend ing hills in
off-road driving cond itions by applying the brakes when
necessary.
Release the clutch pedal (manu al transm ission).
Rotate the steering wheel 1⁄2 turn to the left.
When enabled , HDC senses the terrain and activates
when the vehicle is descend ing a hill. HDC speed may be
adjusted by the driver to suit the driving cond itions. The
speed corresp ond s to the transm ission gear selected .
Press the “ESP OFF” button located in the lower
