Allow the top to dry before opening. Vacuuming the
top with a wet/ dry shop vacu um will decrease the
top ’s drying time, ensu re rem oval of all dirt, and
delete streaks in the material.
Additional Cleaning Procedure
For additional cleaning assistance in rem oving stu bborn
stains, apply Mop ar Convertible Cloth Top Cleaner #
4883061 to the complete stain, extend ing 2 inches (50
mm) beyond the stain. With a soft bristle bru sh, scru b in
all directions over the stain. Avoid heavy scru bbing.
Rinse the area with warm water. If the stain is still
apparent, rep eat the cleaning proced ure. When the stain
is no longer show ing, rinse the complete top with warm
water. Let the top dry before lowering it.
Multiple cleanings may be necessary to rem ove stu b-
born stains. If stains persist, contact you r local dealer-
ship for further suggestions.
CAUTIO N!
Never use an abrasive typ e clean er or bleach es.
Clean ers should not contain silicon es, organ ic sol-
ven ts, petroleu m distillates, or plasticizers. Alw ays
wait until the top is thorou ghly dry before low erin g
it into the storage area.
Protection
For appearance purposes, you may wish to protect the
acrylic (cloth) top period ically. A fabric protectant such as 7
Scotchgu ard is suggested . The top shou ld be clean and
dry before application of the protectant.
