rem ote start mode is exited . Refer to “Rem ote Start
System ” in Section 2 of this manu al for inform ation on
rem ote start operation.
Adding Washer Fluid
NOTE: Refer to the “Engine Com partm ent” diagram in
Section 7 for the location of the washer fluid reservoir.
Windshield Washers
The fluid reservoir for the wind shield washers is located
in the engine compartm ent. Be sure to check the fluid
level in the reservoir at regu lar intervals. Fill the reservoir
with wind shield washer solvent (not rad iator antifreeze)
and operate the system for a few second s to flush out the
resid ual water.
To use the washer, pull the Wind shield Wiper / Washer
Control lever tow ard you and hold it for as long as
washer spray is desired .

If you activate the washer while the wiper control is in
the delay range, the wipers will operate in low speed for
two wipe cycles after releasing the lever and then resu me
the interm ittent interval previou sly selected .
WARN ING!
If you activate the washer while the wiper control is in
the OFF position, the wipers will operate for two wipe
cycles and then turn OFF.

are flam mable. They could ign ite and burn you . Care
must be exercised when fillin g or work ing arou nd
the wash er solu tion .
