The  Autom atic  Unlock   Doors   On  Exit  featu re  can  be
enabled  or  disabled  as  follow s:

in accord ance  with  local law s.
Child-Protection Door Lock System (Rear  Doors)
To provid e a  safer environm  ent for  small  child ren rid ing
in the  rear seats,  the rear  doors  are equ ipped  with a child
protection   door  lock system .
For vehicles  not  equ ipped  with  the  EVIC, perform ing
the  follow ing proced ure:

Close  all doors  and  place  the  key in  the ignition.
To Engage  the  Child   Protection   Door  Lock
Cycle the  ignition  switch  betw een LOCK and  ON  and

then   back  to  LOCK  4  times  end ing  up   in  the  LOCK
position.
