Child-Protection Door Lock System (Rear Doors)
To provid e a safer environm ent for small child ren rid ing
in the rear seats, the rear doors are equ ipped with a child
protection door lock system .

For vehicles not equ ipped with the EVIC, perform ing
the follow ing proced ure:

Close all doors and place the key in the ignition.
To Engage the Child Protection Door Lock
Cycle the ignition switch betw een LOCK and ON and
