STARTING AND OPERATING

Firmly  set the  parking   brake.
Using  a  flat  blad e screw driver,  carefu lly  rem ove the
shift lock  manu al overrid  e cover, which  is located  on  the
PRNDL  bezel.

Dep ress  and   maintain   firm   pressu re   on  the   brake
pedal.
4.
Using  the screw driver,  reach into  the manu  al overrid e
opening.  Press  and  hold  the  shift  lock lever  down.

Move  the shift  lever  into  the “N”  (Neutral)   position.
The vehicle  may  then  be  started  in  “N” (Neutral).
Have  you r  vehicle  insp ected  by  you r  local  authorized
dealer,  if the  shift lock  manu al overrid  e has  been  used .
