To Resume Speed:
If you deactivated the speed control withou t erasing the
set speed from memory and you r vehicle speed is above
To decrease speed while the speed control is set, push
down and hold the lever (“SET DECEL”). Release the
lever when the desired speed is reached , and the new set
speed will be established .

ACCEL), and then rem ove you r foot from the accelerator
pedal.
Tapping the (“SET DECEL”) button once will resu lt in a
1 mph (2 km/ h) speed decrease. Each time the button is 3
tap ped, speed decreases.
To Vary The Speed Setting:
To Accelerate For Passing
Dep ress the accelerator as you would norm ally. When the
pedal is released , the vehicle will retu rn to the set speed .
When the speed control is set, you can increase speed by
pushing up and hold ing the lever (“RESUME ACCEL”).
Release the lever when the desired speed is reached , and
the new set speed will be established .
Usin g Speed Con trol On Hills
Tapping (“RESUME ACCEL”) once will resu lt in a 1 mph
NOTE: The speed control system maintains speed up
and down hills. A slight speed change on moderate hills
is norm al.

On steep hills, a greater speed loss or gain may occur so
it may be preferable to drive withou t speed control.
