4 LOW Mode Indica tor Light — If Equipped
This light alerts the driver that the vehicle is in
the 4WD LOW mode. In this mode, the front
driveshaft and rear driveshaft are mechanically
locked together forcing the front and rear
18. TOW / HAUL Indica tor Light — If Equipped
will illuminate when selecting
TOW/ HAUL. The TOW/ HAUL button is lo-
cated on the gearshift bezel. (See page 281 for

Hill Descent Cont rol Indica tor Light — If Equipped
The sym bol ind icates the statu s of the Hill
Decent Control (HDC) featu re. The lamp will
be on solid when HDC is arm ed. HDC can only
be arm ed when the transfer case is in the “4WD
Low” position and the vehicle speed is less then 30 mph.
If these cond itions are not met while attem pting to use
the HDC featu re, the HDC ind icator lamp will flash
on/ off.(See page 314 for more inform ation.)

Electronic Stabilit y Program (ESP) / Brake Assist
System (BAS) Malfunction Indica tor Light – If Equipped
The malfunction ind icator lamp for the ESP is
combined with the BAS ind icator. The yellow
“ESP/ BAS Warning Lamp” in the instru ment
