UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE
NOTE:
Linking & Unlinking the Remote Keyless (RKE)
Transmitter to the Memory Feature
Your Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transm itters can be
program med to recall one of two pre-p rogram med
memory profiles with a press of the Unlock button on the
RKE Transm itter.

For vehicles equ ipped with an autom atic transm ission,
memory profiles can be set withou t the vehicle in “P”
(Park), but the vehicle must be in “P” (Park) to recall a
memory profile.

For vehicles equ ipped with a manu al transm ission, the
vehicle speed must be at 0 mph (0 km/ h) to recall a
memory profile.
To program you r transm itters, perform the follow ing:

Remove the key from ignition.
The Recall Mem ory with Remote Key Unlock featu re
can be turned on and off throu gh the EVIC, if
equ ipped. For details, refer to “Personal Settings (Cus-
tom er Program mable Featu res)” und er “Electronic Ve-
hicle Inform ation Center (EVIC)” in Section 4 of this
manu al.
Select the desired memory profile 1 or 2.
3. Press and release the Set (S) button on the memory
switch, then press and release the side of the rocker
switch labeled 1 or 2 accord ingly.ЉMem ory Profile Set” (1
or 2) will display in the EVIC, if equ ipped.

Press and release the Lock button on the transm itter
within 10 second s.
