The rain-sensing featu re will not operate when the
wiper speed is in the LOW or HIGH position.

ture rises above freezing.

The rain-sensing featu re may not function prop erly
when ice or dried salt water is present on the wind -
shield .

Use of Rain-X or prod ucts containing wax or silicone
may red uce rain sensor perform ance.

Neutral Wip e Inhibit — The rain-sensing featu re will
not operate when the ignition is ON, and the trans-
mission selector lever is in the “N” (Neutral) position,
and the vehicle speed is less than 5 mph (8 km/ h),
unless the wiper control is moved or the selector lever
is moved out of the “N” (Neutral) position.
The Rain Sense featu re can be turned on and off
throu gh the Electronic Vehicle Inform ation Center
(EVIC) — if equ ipped. For details, refer to “Personal
Settings (Custom er Program mable Featu res)” und er
“Electronic Vehicle Inform ation Center (EVIC)” in
Section 4 of this manu al.
Rem ote Start Wip e Inhibit (Vehicles Equipped with
Rem ote Start System ) — The rain-sensing featu re will
not operate when the vehicle is in rem ote start mode.
