If you r Keyless Entry Transm itter fails to operate from a
norm al distance, check for these two cond itions.
1.
Weak batteries in transm itter. The expected life of the
batteries is from one to two years.
2.
Closeness to a rad io transm itter such as a rad io station
tow er, airp ort transm itter, and som e mobile or CB rad ios.
REMOTE STARTING SYSTEM — IF EQUIPPED
This system uses the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) trans-
mitter to start the engine conveniently from outsid e the
vehicle while still maintaining security. The system has a
targeted range of 328 ft. (100 m).

NOTE: The vehicle must be equ ipped with an auto-
matic transm ission to be equ ipped with Remote Start.
