will rem ain tuned to the new station until you make
another selection. Holding either button will byp ass
stations withou t stop ping until you release it.
NOTE: The ignition switch must be in the ON or ACC
position to operate the rad io.
SCAN Button (Rad io Mode)
Pow er Switch /Volu me Con trol (Rotary)
Pressing the SCAN button causes the tuner to search for
the next listenable station, in AM, FM or Satellite (if
equ ipped) frequ encies, pausing for 5 second s at each 4
listenable station before continu ing to the next. To stop
the search, press the SCAN button a second time.
Press the ON/ VOL control to turn the rad io ON. Press
the ON/ VOL a second time to turn OFF the rad io.
Electron ic Volume Con trol
The electronic volu me control turns continu ously (360
degrees) in either direction withou t stop ping. Turning the
volu me control to the right increases the volu me and to
the left decreases it.
Voice Recogn ition Button (UCon nect™ Hands Free
Phone) — If Equipped
Press this button to operate the Hand Free Phone (UCon-
nect™) featu re (if equ ipped). Refer to “Hand s-Free Com -
munication (UConnect™)” in Section 3 for more inform a-
tion.
When the audio system is turned on, the sou nd will be
set at the sam e volu me level as last played .
SEEK Button s (Rad io Mode)
Press and release the SEEK buttons to search for the next
listenable station in AM/ FM mode. Press the right switch
to seek up and the left switch to seek down. The rad io
If you r vehicle is not equ ipped with or this featu re is not
available on you r vehicle, a “UConnect™ System Not
Available” message will display on the rad io screen.
