TOWING A DISABLED VEHICLE
WARN ING!
Prop er tow ing or lifting equ ipment is requ ired to prevent
damage to you r vehicle. Use of safety chains is recom -
mend ed. Attach tow ing device to main stru ctural mem-
bers of the veh icle — not to bumpers or associated
brack ets. State and local law s applyin g to veh icles
under tow must be observed .
Any proced ure oth er than above could resu lt in:
1.
Person al injury caused by electrolyte squirtin g out
the battery ven t;
2.
Person al injury or prop erty damage due to battery
explosion ;
3.
Damage to chargin g system of booster veh icle or
of immobilized veh icle.
