TSC (Trailer Sway Control) – If Equipped
WARN ING!
TSC uses sensors in the vehicle to recognize an exces-
sively swaying trailer. TSC activates autom atically once
the excessively swaying trailer is recognized . When TSC
is functioning, the “ESP/ TCS Ind icator” light will flash,
the engine power will be red uced, and you will feel the
brake being applied to ind ivid ual wheels in an attem pt to
stop the trailer from swaying.
Many factors, such as veh icle load ing, road condi-
tion s, and drivin g condition s, influ ence the chance
that wheel lift or rollover may occur. ERM (Electron ic
Roll Mitigation ) cannot preven t all wheel lift or
rollovers, esp ecially those that involve leavin g the
road way or strik ing objects or oth er veh icles. Only a
safe, atten tive, and skillfu l driver can preven t acci-
dents. The capabilities of an ERM-equipped veh icle
must never be exploited in a reck less or dangerou s
manner, which could jeop ard ize the user’s safety or
the safety of oth ers.
NOTE: The TSC is disabled when the ESP system is in
the “Partial Off” mode and “Full Off” mode.
