31. Brake Syst em Warning Light
This light monitors variou s brake functions,
inclu ding brake fluid level and parking brake
application. If the light turns on, it may ind i-
cate that the parking brake is applied, that the
brake fluid level is low, or that there is a problem with the
anti-lock brake system (if equ ipped).
NOTE: If the ind icator message illuminates when you
start the vehicle, the oil change ind icator system did not
reset. If necessary, rep eat this proced ure.

Cruise Indica tor Light — If Equipped
This ind icator lights when the electronic speed
control system is turned on. (See page 147 for
more inform ation.)
The dual brake system provid es a reserve braking capac-
ity in the event of a failu re to a portion of the hyd rau lic
system . Failu re of either half of the dual brake system is
ind icated by the Brake Warning Light, which will turn on
when the brake fluid level in the master cylind er has
drop ped below a specified level.
