the TPM Telltale Light will turn ON. In addition, the
EVIC will display a Low Pressu re message and a grap hic
show ing the low tire pressu re valu e flashing.
2. If you install the compact spare tire in place of a road
tire that has a pressu re below the low-pressu re warning
limit, upon the next ignition key cycle, the TPM Telltale
Light will rem ain ON and a chim e will sou nd . In
addition, the grap hic in the EVIC will still display a
flashing pressu re valu e.
3. After driving the vehicle for up to 10 minu tes above 15
mph (25 km/ h), the TPM Telltale Light will flash on and
off for 75 second s and then rem ain on solid . In addition,
the EVIC will display aЉCHECK TPM SYSTEMЉ message
for 3 second s and then display dashes (- -) in place of the
pressu re valu e.
4. For each subsequ ent ignition key cycle, a chim e will
sou nd , the TPM Telltale Light will flash on and off for 75
second s and then rem ain on solid , and the EVIC will
display aЉCHECK TPM SYSTEMЉ message for 3 second s
and then display dashes (- -) in place of the pressu re
valu e.

After driving the vehicle for up to 10 minu tes above 15
mph (25 km/ h) the TPM Telltale Light will turn OFF, as
long as no tire pressu re is below the low-pressu re warn-
ing limit in any of the four active road tires.

The EVIC will display a grap hic show ing the tire
pressu re valu e in place of the flashing low tire pressu re
valu e. The EVIC will also display a “SPARE LOW
PRESSURE” message to rem ind you to service the flat
tire.
NOTE:
Vehicles with Compa ct Spare
1.
The compact spare tire does not have a tire pressu re
monitoring sensor. Therefore, the TPMS will not monitor
the pressu re in the compact spare tire.
