For identification purposes, you will be prom pted to
give the UConnect system a nam e for you r cellular
phone. Each cellular phone that is paired shou ld be

• AfterЉDial.Љthe ЉRead yЉ prom pt and the follow ing beep , say
Press the “Phone” button to begin.
You will then be asked to give you r cellular phone a
priority level betw een 1 and 7, 1 being the highest
priority. You can pair up to seven cellular phones to
you r UConnect system . However, at any given time,
only one cellular phone can be in use, connected to
you r UConnect System . The priority allow s the
UConnect system to know which cellular phone to
use if multiple cellular phones are in the vehicle at the
sam e time. For exam ple, if priority 3 and priority 5
phones are present in the vehicle, the UConnect
system will use the priority 3 cellular phone when you

For exam ple, you can say Љ234-567-8901.Љ The phone
nu mber that you enter must be of valid length and
combination. Based on the country in which the ve-
hicle was purchased , the UConnect limits the user
from dialing invalid combination of nu mbers. For
exam ple, in USA, 234-567-890 is nine digits long,
which is not a valid USA phone nu mber - the closest
valid phone nu mber has ten digits.
