You can overrid e the fan speed at any tim e. If
you use the bu tton to control the fan speed , the
EATC will continu e to control the tem peratu re
bu t you control the fan speed . To retu rn to au to
fan control, press the AUTO bu tton. If you are
operating in one of the overrid e functions (S,
MAX A/ C, etc.), au tom atic fan control will
continu e unless you press the fan speed bu tton.
To retu rn to au tom atic fan control, press the
AUTO bu tton. The EATC will retu rn to
au tom atic operation. If you want to retu rn to
any overrid e function, press the bu tton for that
function. The fan speed will continu e to be
au tom atically controlled .
Ma nua l override but tons
Your EATC has six bu ttons which allow you to
make special selections. The bu ttons are located
along the bottom edge of the EATC and allow
you to determ ine where the air will be
discharged . Pressing any overrid e bu tton
changes the air discharge location only. It does
not affect the ability of the system to control
tem peratu re or the fan speed . Retu rn to fully
au tom atic operation by pushing the AUTO
bu tton.
MAX A/C button
The MAX A/ C featu re allow s for faster cooling
becau se air is draw n from insid e the vehicle.
Using insid e air cau ses the fan to sou nd lou der
which is norm al for this selection. The display
wind ow will change to ind icate MAX A/ C and
the airflow will be from the instru ment panel
registers. To exit, push AUTO or any of the
other five manu al overrid e bu ttons.
