NOTE: The operatin g ran ge of the rem ote
entry system can also be affected by
weath er condition s (such as very cold
tem peratu res) or stru ctures arou nd the
veh icle (build ings, oth er veh icles, rad io
and TV tow ers, etc.). Typ ical operatin g
ran ge will allow you to be up to 33
feet (10 meters) away from you r
veh icle.
The transm itter can be snap ped ap art to rep lace
the batteries by tw isting a thin coin betw een the
tw o halves of the transm itter. DO NOT TAKE
THE FRON T PART OF THE TRAN SMITTER
APART. When installing the new batteries, be
sure to place the positive (+) sid e dow n as
marked . Snap the tw o halves back together.
Rep lacin g the batteries
Repla cing lost tra nsmit ters
In the event a transm itter is lost, you shou ld
take all you r vehicle’s transm itters to you r
dealer to have the rem ote entry system
deprogram med for the lost transm itter. This is
necessary to prevent further unau thorized use of
the lost transm itter.
You can also purchase ad ditional transm itters
(up to 4 transm itters can be used ) from you r
dealer. You will need to take all you r
transm itters to the dealer so they can program
them to the rem ote entry system all at the sam e
tim e.
