Cha nging the displa y from farenheit to
celsius
To change the tem peratu re display from
Farenheit to Celsiu s, depress the MAX A/ C and
V F-DEF at the sam e tim e and hold them
dow n for abou t a second . To change back to the
original setting, rep eat the process. If the battery
is disconnected , the display will revert to
Fahrenheit and must be reset to Celsiu s.
Aut oma tic opera tion
Press the AUTO bu tton and select the desired
tem peratu re. The selected tem peratu re and
AUTO will be show n in the Disp lay wind ow .
The EATC will au tom atically heat or cool to
achieve the set tem peratu re. Und er norm al
cond itions, you r EATC will need no ad ditional
attention.
The AUTO tem peratu re disp lay
When in AUTO and weather cond itions requ ire
heat, air will be sent to the floor. But a featu re is
inclu ded in you r EATC to prevent blow ing cold
air to the floor if the engine coolant is not warm
enou gh to allow heating. The EATC will direct
the airflow to the wind shield at low fan speed .
In 3-1/ 2 minu tes or less, the fan speed will start
to increase and the airflow will change to the
floor area.
