The weight limits of you r vehicle’s tires affect
the GVWR or GAWR limitations. Usage of
rep lacem ent tires with higher weight limits than
originals does not increase GVWR or GAWR.
Usage of low er cap acity rep lacem ent tires may
low er GVWR and GAWR limitations.

If the GVWR or the GAWR specified on
the Safety Com plian ce Certification Label
is exceed ed, you r veh icle may be damaged
or you may lose control and injure

Limitin g Your Veh icle’s Load
The load that you ad d to you r vehicle must not
exceed the maxim um load stated on the Safety
Com pliance Certification Decal attached to the
left front door pillar.
To figu re the weight of you r vehicle’s load , ad d
the weights of:
❑the driver and passengers
❑
luggage and any other item s that you put in
you r vehicle
❑the tongu e load of the load ed trailer
❑
the weight of any equ ipment that has been
ad ded to you r vehicle since it was delivered
to you r dealer
