Snow Tires and Chain s
The tires on you r vehicle have all-w eather tread s
that provid e traction in rain or snow . How ever,
during the winter months in som e climates, you
may need to use snow tires and occasionally
chains for you r tires.
RWARN ING
Snow tires must be the sam e size and
grad e as the tires you curren tly have on
you r veh icle.
Use chains on the tires only in an emergency or
if the law requ ires them where you live. If you
choose to use chains on you r vehicle’s tires, be
aw are of the follow ing:

wheels. IT IS RECOMMEN DED THAT TIRE
CH AIN S ARE INSTALLED ON STEEL
WH EELS ON LY. Be sure to rem ove wheel
covers (if equ ipped) from steel rim s before
using tire chains to avoid scratches or
dam age.

equ ipped with P225/ 55VR16 tires (SHO only).

Local regu lations may prohibit or restrict the
use of tire chains. Investigate the law s and
