Turning on the high beam s
To change you r head lam ps from low to high
beam , push the tu rn signal lever aw ay from you .
To change them back to low beam , pull the
lever tow ard you .

Daytim e Running Ligh t System
(Ca na dia n and fleet vehicles only)
The Daytim e Running Light (DRL) system is
designed to tu rn the high beam head lam ps on,
with a red uced light output and withou t
illuminating the high beam ind icator lam p in the
instru ment panel. The DRL system operates
when all of the follow ing cond itions are met:
❑The vehicle is “ru nning.”
❑
The vehicle has a fully released parking
brake.
❑The head lam p system is in the OFF position.
NOTE: If you have a veh icle with an
autom atic ligh tin g system , the DRL
system is active until the autom atic
system turns on the head lam ps.
