Park ing  Brak e
The  park ing  brak e  should   be  used  whenever
you  park  you r  veh icle.
This  brake   is suspend  ed  just   below  the  bottom
of  the  instru ment   panel   to  the  left  of  the  brake
pedal.
The  park ing  brak e  and  park ing  brak e  release
RWARN ING
Alw ays  set the  park  ing  brak e fully   and
make  sure   the  gearsh ift  is  secu rely latch ed
in  P (Park ).
RWARN ING
If  the  park ing  brak e  is fully   released ,  but
the  Brak e System   ligh t rem ain s on,  have
the  brak es  checked   immediately.    They
may  not  be  work ing  prop erly.
RWARN ING
To  preven t  person al  injury,   do  not  release
the  park ing  brak e  while  outsid  e the
veh icle.
