To deactivate the Au tolock system :
1.
Enter you r perm anent five-d igit entry cod e
(not the personal cod e you may have set).

Within 5 second s, press and hold 7/ 8.
Within 5 more second s, press and release

Release 7/ 8.
To reactivate the Au tolock system , sim ply rep eat
the instru ctions for deactivating the system . By
re-entering the cod e that deactivates the
Au tolock, the keyless entry system reinstates the
Au tolock featu re.
You can also deactivate or reactivate the
Au tolock featu re by this method :
1.
Make sure the anti-theft system is not arm ed
or triggered , ignition is off, and all doors
and liftgate are closed .

Turn the ignition key from OFF to RUN .
Press the door pow er unlock bu tton 3 tim es.
Turn the ignition key from RUN to OFF.
Press the door pow er unlock bu tton 3 tim es.
Turn the ignition key back to RUN within 30
second s of step 2.

The horn shou ld chirp once. If not, wait 30
second s and rep eat step s 1 throu gh 6.
8.
Press the door pow er unlock bu tton.
Press the door pow er lock bu tton.
9.
10.
The horn will chirp once if the Au tolock
featu re was deactivated , tw ice (one short
chirp follow ed by a long chirp ) if the
Au tolock featu re was activated .
11.
Turn the ignition OFF.
