Grasp the shou lder portion of the belt and
pull dow nw ard until all of the belt is
extracted and a click is heard . At this tim e,
the retractor is in the au tom atic locking
mod e (child seat restraint mod e).

Allow the belt to retract. Pu ll up on the
shou lder webbing. A clicking sou nd will be
heard as the belt retracts. This ind icates the
retractor is in the au tom atic locking mod e.
Push dow n on the child seat while you pull
up on the belt to rem ove any slack in the
belt. Figu res 5 and 6.
