Reinstall the water shield , slid ing it from the
center of the vehicle tow ard the fend er. As
you position it over the filter, gu ide the
hinged flap on the left sid e of the shield
dow n betw een the filter and the fend er.
Slide the shield tow ard the fend er until the
holes on the shield align with the holes on
the vehicle bod y. Reinstall the tw o screw s
that hold the shield in place.

Reinstall the leaf screen. Tuck the left rear
corner of the screen und er the top of the
fend er, then low er the screen into position.
Reinstall the fou r retainers, tu rning them 90˚
to lock them into place. Reinstall the vacu um
line hose clips and the one loose clip in the
notches in the leaf screen.
Tires
Look at you r tires each tim e you fill you r fuel
tank. If one tire looks low er than the others,
check the pressu re in all of them . Alw ays follow
these precau tions:

Keep you r tires inflated to the recom mend ed
pressu res.

Stay within the recom mend ed load limits (see
Load limits in the Ind ex).
