On the fou rth engine start up, the Service
Engine Soon Warning Light will tu rn off as soon
as the engine begins to crank. It is not necessary
to have the engine serviced .
Und er certain cond itions, the Service Engine
Soon light may com e on if the fuel cap is not
prop erly installed . If the Service Engine Soon
light com es on and you suspect that the fuel cap
is not prop erly installed , pull off the road as
soon as it is safely possible and tu rn off the
engine. Remove and rep lace the fuel cap , making
sure it is prop erly seated .
After com pleting the three consecu tive warm up
cycles and on the fourth engine start up, the
Service Engine Soon warning light shou ld tu rn
off. If the light does not go off after the fou rth
engine restart, have you r vehicle serviced by
you r dealer or a qu alified technician.
Low Fuel Ligh t
This light com es on when you r fuel gau ge
ind icates ap proxim ately 1/ 16 of a tank. The
ignition must be tu rned to the ON position for
this light to com e on. This light will glow
stead ily.
