Check the engine’s oil level, follow ing the
instru ctions on checking and ad ding engine
oil in this Ow ner Guide. (See Engine oil in
the Ind ex.) If you do not follow these
instru ctions, engine dam age could resu lt. To
ensu re an accu rate read ing, you r vehicle
shou ld be on level grou nd .
If the level is low , ad d only as much oil as
necessary to bring it to the full level before
you start the engine again. Do not overfill.
Do not operate the engine if the light is on,
regard less of the oil level. Contact you r
nearest dealer for further service actions.
High Beam Ligh t
This light com es on when the head lam ps are
tu rned to high beam or when you flash the
lights.
If you r vehicle is equ ipped with Daylight
Running Lam ps (DRL), the high beam light will
not com e on when you flash the lights.
