How to turn the ra dio on and off
Press the “VOL PUSH ON ” bu tton to tu rn the
rad io on. Press again to tu rn off.
How to adjust the volume
Turn the “VOL PUSH ON ” knob to the right to
increase the volu me and to the left to decrease
the volu me. Dots illuminate in the display to
show relative volu me level.
NOTE: If the volu me is set above a certain
level when the ign ition is turned off,
the volu me will come back to a
“nominal” listen ing level when the
ign ition is turned back on. However, if
the rad io power is turned off with the
“VO L PUSH ON” button , the volu me
will not change and will rem ain at the
level set when the rad io is turned back
on.
Select ing the AM or FM frequency ba nd
Press the “AM” or “FM” bu tton to select the
desired frequ ency band or to stop / store cassette
tap e (when a cassette is playing). Pressing the
“FM” bu tton more than once will alternate
betw een FM1 and FM2. These functions are used
with the station memory bu ttons described
und er How to tune radio stations.
