Opera ting the “SCAN” funct ion
Press the “SCAN ” bu tton to enter the scan
mod e. The CD player will begin scanning the
disc, stop ping on each listenable track for
ap proxim ately an eight second sam pling. This
continu es until you press the “SCAN ” bu tton a
second tim e.
Opera ting the Shuffle and Sca n fea tures
simult aneously
Both the shu ffle and scan featu res can be
activated sim ultaneou sly. In this mod e, the
player will rand om ly pick a selection and play
the first eight second s. This process is continu ed
until either the “SCAN ” bu tton or “SHUFFLE”
bu tton is pressed a second tim e.
Opera ting the CD Compression fea ture
The com pression featu re will bring soft and lou d
passages closer together for a more consistent
listening level.
To tu rn the com pression on, press the “COMP”
bu tton. When the com pression featu re is
activated , the display will ind icate “C”. Press
again to deactivate.
How to st op CD pla y
While in CD Changer mod e, press the “AM” or
“FM” bu tton to stop CD play and resu me rad io
play. Load ing a cassette into the cassette deck
(or pressing “TAPE” if a cassette is alread y
load ed) will stop CD play and begin cassette
play.
