To tu rn you r EATC on, press the AUTO bu tton
or any of the six manu al overrid e bu ttons along
the bottom of the control.
To tu rn you r EATC off, press the OFF bu tton.
When the system is off, the Disp lay wind ow will
be blank (dark).
If you select AUTO, the system will
au tom atically determ ine fan speed and airflow
location. If a manu al overrid e bu tton is selected ,
you r selection determ ines airflow location only.
Fan speed rem ains au tom atic unless you
overrid e it by pressing either sid e of the FAN
speed bu tton located at the extrem e left of the
control panel.
Tempera ture select ion
The TEMP bu tton at the upper left of the
Control is for tem peratu re selection. The a sid e
of the TEMP bu tton will increase the set
tem peratu re and the b sid e of the TEMP bu tton
will low er the set tem peratu re. Pressing the
bu tton and releasing it will change the set
tem peratu re one degree. Hold ing either sid e of
the bu tton in will rap idly change the
tem peratu re setting in one degree increm ents to
either 65˚F (18˚C) or 85˚F (29˚C). Then, the set
tem peratu re will jump 5˚F(3˚C) and stop at
either 60˚F (16˚C) which is maxim um cooling or
90˚F
(32˚C) which is maxim um heating.
To change the tem peratu re, select any
tem peratu re betw een 6O˚F (16˚C) and 90˚F
(32˚C)
by pressing the a or b sid e of the
TEMP bu tton. The EATC will display the
selected tem peratu re.
