move the passen ger seat as far back from
the instru ment panel as possib le. NEVER
SECURE REAR-FACIN G INFANT SEATS
IN THE FRONT SEAT.
The force of the rap idly inflating passenger air
bag could push the top of the rear-facing seat
against the vehicle seatback, arm rests or console.
Rear-facing infant seats must alw ays be secu red
in the rear seat.

on or near the air bag cover on the
steerin g wheel or in fron t seat areas that
may come in contact with a deployin g air
bag. Failu re to follow this instru ction may
increase the risk of person al injury in the
even t of a collision .
