To unfasten the belt, push the release bu tton on
the end of the bu ckle. This allow s the tongu e to
unlatch from the bu ckle.
RWARN ING
The lap belts should fit snugly and as low
as possib le arou nd the hips, not arou nd
the waist.
Safety Belt Exten sion Assem bly
For som e peop le, the safety belt may be too
short even when it is fully extend ed. You can
ad d abou t eight inches (20 cm) to the belt length
with a safety belt extension assem bly (part
nu mber 611C22). Safety belt extensions are
available at no cost from you r dealer.
This assem bly is not for use in the wagon
rear-facing seat.
RWARN ING
The use of the safety belt exten sion in the
wagon rear-facin g seat will increase the
risk of person al injury.
Use only extensions manu factu red by the sam e
supplier as the safety belt. Manu factu rer
identification is located at the end of the
webbing on the label. Also, use the safety belt
extension only if the safety belt is too short for
you when fully extend ed. Do not use extension
to change the fit of the shou lder belt across the
torso.

Failu re to follow these instru ction s will
affect the perform ance of the safety belts
and increase the risk of person al injury.
