Aut olock (If equipped)
The Au tolock featu re is part of you r rem ote
keyless entry system and is enabled at the
factory. With the Au tolock featu re enabled , all of
the doors will au tom atically lock when:
❑the vehicle doors and liftgate are fully closed
❑the ignition key is tu rned to the ON position
❑the brake pedal is pressed
❑you shift throu gh (Reverse)
❑
one second has elap sed after the brake pedal
is released
The Au tolock featu re will rep eat when:
❑
a door is opened and then all doors and
liftgate are closed
❑the brake pedal is released
The doors may not lock au tom atically at the
correct tim e if the driver:
❑
shifts throu gh gears withou t pressing the
brake
❑
shifts throu gh gears qu ickly after starting the
vehicle
❑
releases their foot from the brake while
som eone has step ped out of the vehicle for a
mom ent
You can deactivate the system by using the
bu ttons for the keyless entry system if you don’t
want to use the Au tolock featu re.
