At tim es, you may want to tow you r vehicle
behind another vehicle, such as a recreational
vehicle, a car, or a tru ck.
Before you have you r vehicle tow ed:
❑Release the parking brake.
❑Move the gearshift to N (Neutral).
❑Turn the key in the ignition to OFF.
❑Unlock the steering wheel.
Do not tow you r vehicle at a speed faster than

mph (56 km / h) or for a distance greater than
miles (80 km ), unless the drive wheels are
placed on dollies.
RWARN ING
Never use a tow bar that attach es to the
bumper when you tow you r veh icle. This
could damage the bumper and cause an
accid ent.
