Overd rive Off Indicator
This light tells you that the Overd rive Off (O/ D
OFF) switch on the gearshift lever has been
pushed . When the light is on, the transaxle will
not shift into overd rive. Dep ressing the O/ D
OFF switch located below the gearshift release
bu tton on the floor gearshift or located on the
end of the colu mn gearshift will retu rn the
vehicle to “overd rive on” mod e. The transaxle
will be in the “overd rive on” mod e when the
vehicle is started even if the “O/ D OFF” mod e
was selected when the vehicle was last shu t off.
If the light does not com e on when the O/ D
OFF switch is depressed or if the light flashes
when you are driving, have you r vehicle
serviced at the first opportu nity. If this cond ition
persists, dam age could occur to the transaxle.
