Player and Discs
To ensu re the continu ed perform ance of you r
Ford Com pact Disc Player, carefu lly read the
follow ing precau tions:

Alw ays hand le the disc by its edge. Never
tou ch the playing surface.

Before playing, insp ect the disc for any
contam ination. If need ed, clean the disc with
an ap proved disc cleaner, such as the
Discw asheră Com pact Disc Cleaner or the
Allsop 3ă Com pact Disc Cleaner, by wiping
from the center ou t to the edges. Do not use
a circu lar motion to clean .

Do not clean discs with solvents such as
benzine, thinner, com mercially available
cleaners or antistatic spray intend ed for
analog record s.
❑
Do not exp ose the disc to direct sunlight or
heat sou rces such as defroster and floor
heating ducts. Do not leave any discs in a
parked car in direct sunlight where there may
be a consid erable rise in tem peratu re or
dam age may resu lt.
❑After playing, store the disc in its case.
❑
If a disc has alread y been inserted , do not try
to insert another disc. Doing so may dam age
the disc player.
❑
Do not insert anything other than a disc into
the disc player.
