The alignm ent of you r head lam ps shou ld be
checked if:

oncom ing motorists frequ ently signal you to
tu rn off you r vehicle’s high beam s when you
do not have the high beam s on

the head lam ps do not seem to give you
enou gh light to see clearly at night
❑
the head lam ps are not aligned so that they
point slightly dow n and to the right.
Rep lacin g the Head lam p Bulb
The head lam ps on you r vehicle use rep laceable
bu lbs. When the lam p bu rns out, sim ply rep lace
the bu lb, rather than the whole lam p.
RWARN ING
Handle a halogen head lam p bulb carefu lly
and keep out of child ren ’s reach . Grasp
the bulb only by its plastic base and do
not tou ch the glass. The oil from you r
hand could cause the bulb to break the
next tim e the head lam ps are operated .
Do not rem ove the bu rned -out bu lb unless you
can immediately rep lace it with a new one. If a
bu lb is rem oved for an extend ed period of tim e,
contam inants may enter the head lam p hou sing
and affect its perform ance.
