Usin g the Pow er Anten na (If equipped)
The pow er antenna will au tom atically rise when
you r rad io is tu rned on and the ignition is in the
ON or ACC position. It will low er when either
the rad io or the ignition is tu rned off.
Pow er ant enna ma int ena nce and care

Never drive you r vehicle throu gh a car wash
with the pow er antenna mast extend ed. This
can cau se dam age to the antenna mast, which
is not covered und er warranty. Turn off you r
rad io and / or the vehicle. This will
au tom atically retract the antenna.

If you r pow er antenna mast ever becom es
dam aged , the mast may not extend or retract
prop erly which might limit recep tion
perform ance. In this case, it is not necessary
to rep lace the entire pow er antenna assem bly.
A rep lacem ent mast can be obtained from
you r dealership for a nom inal fee.

Occasionally, the pow er antenna mast shou ld
be wiped clean with mild soap and water or
denatu red alcohol. This prevents debris from
accu mulating on the mast which can cau se
excessive wear and decrease the pow er
antenna life. Never use petroleu m-based
prod ucts to clean you r antenna mast.
