Position the shoulder belt heigh t adjuster
so that the belt rests across the middle of
you r shoulder. Be sure the shoulder belt is
prop erly position ed on you r shoulder each
tim e you use the belt. If the shoulder belt
is off you r shoulder, on you r upper arm
or neck, there is a greater risk of severe
injury in a collision .

Never use child safety seats in the third
seat of a wagon .
Your vehicle is equ ipped with safety seat belts
containing an ad just tongu e at the rear-facing
seating positions.
When the ad just tongu e of the lap / shou lder
com bination seat belt is latched into the bu ckle,
the tongu e will allow the lap portion to becom e
shorter, bu t locks the webbing in place to restrict
it from becom ing longer.
Before you can reach and latch a com bination
lap and shou lder belt having an ad just tongu e
into the bu ckle, you may have to lengthen the
lap belt portion of it. To lengthen the lap belt,
pull som e webbing out of the shou lder belt
retractor. While hold ing the webbing below the
tongu e, grasp the tongu e so that it is parallel to
the webbing and slid e the tongu e upward .
Provid e enou gh lap belt length so that the
tongu e can reach the bu ckle.
