Steerin g Colu mn Con trols
The controls on the steering colu mn and wheel
are designed to give you easy access to the
controls while you are driving.
The Turn Sign al Lever
You can use the tu rn signal lever on the left sid e
of the steering colu mn to:
❑operate the tu rn signals
❑tu rn the high beam s on/ off
❑flash the lam ps
❑
turn the wind shield wipers and washer
on/ off
Turn Sign als
Move the lever up to signal a right tu rn. Move
it dow n to signal a left tu rn. The corresp ond ing
ind icator light in the instru ment cluster will
flash.
If the tu rn signal stays on after you tu rn, move
the lever back to the center (off) position.
For lane changes, move the lever far enou gh to
signal bu t not to latch. The lever will retu rn to
the off position when you release it.
High Beam s
To tu rn on the high beam s, tu rn the head lam p
control knob to the head lam p ON position and
push the tu rn signal lever aw ay from you until
it latches. When the high beam s are ON , the
high beam ind icator light on the instru ment
panel comes on.
