UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE
The UConnect system can be used with any Hand s-Free
Profile certified Bluetooth cellular phone. See the
UConnect website for supported phones. If you r cellu-
lar phone supports a different profile (e.g., Head set
Profile) you may not be able to use any UConnect
featu res. Refer to you r cellular service provid er or the
phone manu factu rer for details.
Operation
Voice command s can be used to operate the UConnect
system and to navigate throu gh the UConnect menu
stru cture. Voice command s are requ ired after most
UConnect system prom pts. You will be prom pted for a
specific command and then guided throu gh the available
options.
The UConnect system is fully integrated with the vehi-
cle’s audio system . The volu me of the UConnect system
can be adjusted either from the rad io volu me control
knob or from the steering wheel rad io control (right
switch), if so equ ipped.

For certain operations, compound command s can be
used . For exam ple, instead of saying ЉSetupЉ and then
ЉPhone Pairing,Љ the follow ing compound command
can be said :ЉSetup Phone Pairing.Љ
The rad io display will be used for visu al prom pts from
the UConnect system such as ЉCELLЉ or caller ID on
certain rad ios.
For each featu re explanation in this section, only the
combined form of the voice command is given. You
can also break the command s into parts and say each
part of the command when you are asked for it. For
