THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
To open the liftgate, depress the liftgate release hand le
located on the und ersid e of the license plate bar and pull
the liftgate open with one fluid motion.
If the liftgate is locked and is not equ ipped with the
power liftgate featu re, pressing the button on the RKE
transm itter will resu lt in the liftgate becom ing unlocked
for 30 second s allow ing you to manu ally access the
liftgate area.
POWER LIFTGATE — IF EQUIPPED
The power liftgate may be opened manu ally or by using
the button on the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transm it-
ter. Press the button on the transm itter twice within five
second s, to open the power liftgate. When the liftgate is
fully open, pressing the button twice within five second s,
a second time, will close the liftgate.
When the RKE transm itter button is pressed and the
Flash Lights featu re is enabled , the tail lights will flash to
signal that the liftgate is opening or closing.
