Headlight Low/High Beam Select Switch and
WARN ING!
Head ligh t Low/High Beam Select Switch When the
head lights are turned on, pushing the lever assem bly
tow ard the instru ment panel will switch from low beam s
to high beam s. Pulling back to the neu tral position
retu rns to low beam head lights.
Sudden loss of visib ility throu gh the windshield
could lead to an accid ent. You migh t not see oth er
veh icles or oth er obstacles. To avoid sudden icin g of
the windshield durin g freezin g weath er, warm the
windshield with defroster before and durin g wind-
shield wash er use.
Flash -to-Pass (Optical Horn ) You can signal another
vehicle with you r head lights by lightly pulling the mul-
tifunction lever tow ard you . This will cause the head -
lights to turn on at high beam and rem ain on until the
lever is released .
Head ligh ts On When Wip ers Are On — If
Equipped
Head lights on when wind shield wipers are on may be
found on vehicles equ ipped with autom atic head light
system . Refer to the Electronic Vehicle Inform ation Cen-
ter (EVIC) in Section 4 und er “PERSON AL SETTINGS
(CUSTOMER PROGRAMMABLE FEATURES)” for more
inform ation.
