Operation of the system is quite simple.
Press the AUTO button and the word AUTO will
illuminate in the front ATC display, along with three
tem peratu res for Driver’s, Passenger, and Rear seats. The
system will then autom atically regu late the amount of
airflow.
NOTE:
•
It is not necessary to move the tem peratu re settings for
cold or hot vehicles. The system autom atically adjusts
the tem peratu re, mode and fan speed to provid e
comfort as quickly as possible.

• The tem peratu re can be displayed in U.S. or Metric by
selecting the US/ M custom er program mable featu re. 4
Refer to the “Cu stom er Program mable Featu res” in
Section 3 of this manu al.

Next, adjust the tem peratu re you would like the
system to maintain by adjusting the driver’s, passenger,
and rear seat rotary tem peratu re knobs. Once the desired
tem peratu re is displayed , the system will achieve and
autom atically maintain that comfort level.
To provid e you with maxim um comfort in the autom atic
mode, during cold start-u ps, the blow er fan will rem ain
on low and the DELAY sym bol will appear in the front
ATC display until the engine warm s up. The fan will
engage immediately if the DEFROST mode is selected or
by rotating the blow er control to any fixed blow er speed .

When the system is set up for you r comfort level, it is
not necessary to change the settings. You will experience
the greatest efficiency by simply allow ing the system to
function autom atically.
