Tire Pressure
Prop er tire inflation pressu re is essential to the safe and
satisfactory operation of you r vehicle. Three prim ary
areas are affected by improp er tire pressu re:
•Over-in flation red uces a tire’s ability to cushion
shock. Objects on the road and chuckholes can cause
damage that resu lt in tire failu re.
•
Over-in flated or under-in flated tires can affect ve-
hicle handlin g and can fail suddenly, resu ltin g in
loss of veh icle control.
