Rear Temperatu re Con trol
control is in FLOOR, DEFROST, or MIX modes, airflow
will be directed out of the rear floor outlets.
When the blow er knob on the front climate control unit is
set to any position other than RR , the rear tem peratu re
selection follow s the setting of the rear tem peratu re
control knob on the front climate control unit. The rear
mode selection follow s the setting of the rear mode
control knob.
Rear Mode Con trol
FLOOR Mode
Air comes from the floor outlets.
To change the tem peratu re in the rear of the vehicle,
rotate the tem peratu re control knob counterclockw ise for
cold and clockw ise for heated air.
BI-LEVEL Mode
Air comes from both the head liner outlets and the
floor outlets.
When rear controls are locked by the front system , the
lock sym bol on the tem peratu re knob is illuminated and
the rear overhead adjustm ents are ignored .
NOTE: In many tem peratu re positions, the BI-LEVEL
mode is designed to provid e cooler air out of the head -
liner outlets and warm er air from the floor outlets.
The rear airflow modes will mirror the front unit opera-
tion. Rear PANEL mode is autom atically selected when
the front control is in the PANEL mode. When the front
unit is in BI-LEVEL mode, airflow will be emitted from
both the upper and lower rear outlets. When the front
HEADLINER Mode
Air comes from the outlets in the head liner. Each of
these outlets can be ind ivid ually adjusted to direct
the flow of air. Moving the air vanes of the outlets to one
side will shu t off the airflow.
